How to Choose a Ringtone

You may know exactly what you are looking for when you start to search for a particular tune to put into your phone, but while you search, you may find many others that you would like to use too. The best advice is to consider how other people feel about ringtones. If you work in a busy office, for example and everyone leaves their phones on “normal” setting, there will be some ringtones that drive you to distraction. You don’t want to antagonize colleagues, so a free ringtones would be good to use while you are in the office. When you leave, then you can switch to a ringtone which better suits your character.

Think about it; you may love a particular rap song that some people would find offensive, and such a person might just be your boss. As you wouldn’t want him/her to form a negative impression of you, then you would be wise to modify your choice of ringtone while he/she is in close proximity to you, or at least likely to appear at any moment.

Effective ringtones that are innocuous and blend in to the background may be the ideal choice for such a situation. You could have a frog sound or a cat’s miaou, and this might be amusing if people started to look for the animal. It might break the ice too if you are outside surrounded by people you might like to meet. Usually people have a sense of humour and enjoy the novelty of being fooled by such ringtones. The beauty of them is that they are inoffensive and so perfect if you don’t want to seem obtrusive.

If you have green credentials, then this type of Free MP3 Ringtones would not compromise them, although you may want to have something a little livelier after a while; in which case you could go for a soothing melody which doesn’t make other people’s hackles rise. You could always make your own animal ringtone of your dog barking or your cat purring, but this may take some time, although the effort may be worth it, as at least no one else would have quite the same sound as you.
